Realists tend to focus on practicality and what is achievable in the present, while idealists focus on what could be possible in an ideal world. An idealist is someone who believes in the possibility of achieving a perfect world or society. They often have strong convictions about how things should be and work towards creating positive change based on their ideals. Idealists are driven by their vision of a better future and strive to make a difference by advocating for their beliefs and values. **

An idealist and a realist differ in their perspectives and approaches to the world. An idealist tends to focus on how things should be and often has a more optimistic outlook, believing in the potential for positive change and progress. On the other hand, a realist tends to focus on how things are, taking a more practical and pragmatic approach, and often being more skeptical about the potential for significant change. While an idealist may prioritize values and principles, a realist may prioritize practicality and feasibility. Overall, the key difference lies in their perspectives on the world and their approaches to addressing challenges and opportunities. **

For example, someone can be honest about their feelings but not sincerely express them, or someone can sincerely express themselves but not be completely honest. **
